"Super good food but high prices. I like the chicken korma. I usually do takeout, but the one time I ate in, the service was fine.
Prices are not competitive for Cambridge at all, so I frequently go elsewhere. They are more expensive than almost every other Indian restaurant nearby. For reference, GrubHub prices for chicken korma (December 2024) elsewhere is $18.29 (with Nan, Punjabi Dhaba), $17.95 (Royal Punjab), $14.99 (Desi Dhaba), and Passage to India (here) is $23.00. I would go here more if prices were lower."
"Went here for my sisters birthday recently and it was great ! Staff were lovely and gave her a special birthday treat and the food was excellent. Highly recommend!!"
"The Passage to India is a culinary delight with food that truly stands out. Each dish is a masterpiece, from the vegetable pakora, and veg hot & sour soup to the perfectly cooked butter naan with palak paneer, and bindi masala. The desserts mango kulfi and mango lassi are mouthwatering. The service is exceptional, with a staff that is both attentive and warm, making you feel right at home. The cozy, elegant ambiance adds to the overall experience, making every meal memorable. If you're looking for a place where exquisite food meets outstanding hospitality, The Passage to India is a must-visit. Highly recommended!"
"Excellent Indian restaurant-
Let’s start with logistics- incredibly easy to get there. Just take Green line to Lechmere - get off at the OזBrian Hwy exit and it’s right there.
The food was superb. We love Indian food and spicy food . service was quick and attentive. When I commented that it was a bit spicy for me- immediately got yogurt to lower the spiciest - though didn’t really need it.
When looking for good food, I read a lot of reviews- always going to the lowest first- what I liked was that there was a response to every negative review- that showed me that the owner cares and I was right. Really a joy! If you love Indian food- go there."
"Stopped in on the way back to our hotel for takeout after a day visiting Boston. First thing I noticed was the great atmosphere and the cool art on the menu. I was relieved to see clearly marked vegan options. The service was super friendly and accommodating, despite the late hour - service that made this place really stand out. Oh, and the food was some of the best Indian I have had. 5 star all around!"
"Y’all, the onion chili naan is so delicious with the rich butter chicken. The Aloo Palak was the perfect consistency. The veg coriander lemon soup was light, a lovely accompaniment to this late summer evening. Thank you, Passage to India! I’ll be back! 🇮🇳"
